Personal Allusion Poem Final
Life is great,
When everything would be going your way
But, a small bump in the path
Could leave you in a spiral of despair
Making sporadic decisions
Having the law come after you
You evade them
But, one comes after you donning a black cape
He wants you to stop
He intends to bring you back to reality.
You continue your reign of insanity
No matter how disfigured your face may turn
You figure this is a game
And you think everything is a game
Playing with anything that comes your way
Could you be anymore careless
and try not think that everything could be your
plaything
Not everything can be treated lightly
Life is no game.
The man donning the black cape tries to stop this
He does
He foils your “Game”
And throws you in an asylum
An insane asylum
A playground for you
You meet others that have been put here by the man in the black cape
A penguin looking man
A man with many questions
And many others that have been put here by the man.
You escape from the asylum
You look at the city before you
This is your kingdom
You pull the strings
You are the baddest of the bad
You kill whoever you please
You do what you want
You are always irrational
You enjoy the crimes
You are the Clown Prince of Crime

You continue your reign of insanity
No matter how disfigured your face may turn
You figure this is a game
You wish to win the bout
An eerie laughter fills the air
Explosions ringing through the streets
Cries of the innocent
Yelling starts
Chaos has started
You created this and you like it.
The man donning the black cape tries to stop this
He does
He foils your “Game”

Allusion Poem
Eyes on Ancient times in going back and intriguing the mind
Hercules pillar being his strength
Challenging all odds
A man being his own mode
Hercules strength in conquering evil
Deceit of destruction confined to the Devil
The Greek Gods that sit above
They have spiritual divined powers thereof
The Gladiators have come to attack
But the Greek Gods have Hercules back
The pillars of evil Kingdoms have steadily come down
The rattle of the chains and the demons that remain
Hercules the conquer with the strength of solid bound
A man of force with the lean sound
Hercules stands on a throne with lightening bolts on both sides
The sun casts a shadow with the man of victory
It’s Hercules labours of sustaining history
The mystery of challenges of an unknown tomorrow
The enemy being defeated in sorrow
Hercules legacy with having moral of morrow and eyes keen like a sparrow.
Hercules pillar being his strength
Challenging all odds
A man being his own mode
Hercules strength in conquering evil
Deceit of destruction confined to the Devil
The Greek Gods that sit above
They have spiritual divined powers thereof

I liked this poem because of several things. One being that it has my favorite disney prince, Hercules. Hercules is such a strong man on a mission. Protecting those with near or unlimited power and with no struggle he does such task with a conquering hand. A second being he relates to me in many ways, he is a strong, smart, and he is still imperfect. A perfect person to look up to and to idolize. Lastly, when he did the labors to prove that he is worth the gods to look upon. Showing that you are worth to look at, just like college. His labors make me want to push myself to do better and strive for greatness. This poem had given me many tips on life. If you push things will try to push you back but, you still have to push until the end of your journey.
